G. D. Falksen is a fiction author and history student presently pursuing two Masters degrees.  He has appeared on MTV, and in print articles for publications such as The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Marie Claire Italian, and Time Out New York.  His work has been featured in The Willows Magazine, Steampunk Magazine, The Chap, and Egophobia.  In addition, he has been a guest speaker at various conventions on the East Coast.

Jay Lake lives in Portland, Oregon, where he works on numerous writing and editing projects. Phil Brucato
Author: Stormada: Red Blossoms for the Queen

SatyrPhil Brucato, aka Phil Brucato or just plain Satyr, sold his first pro story to Marion Zimmer Bradley back in 1989. That tale - “Elynne Dragonchild” in Sword & Sorceress IX – marked the beginning of a 20-year career. Known throughout the 1990s as part of White Wolf’s pack of leather-clad disreputables, Phil co-created the Mage, Sorcerers Crusade, Changeling, Kindred of the East and Vampire: The Dark Ages lines, contributing to over 80 books for that company.

In 2001, he founded Laughing Pan Productions, authoring Deliria: Faerie Tales for a New Millennium, Everyday Heroes and Goblin Markets from 2003-2006. He’s also been a columnist for newWitch and Realms of Fantasy magazines, publishing short stories in venues like Weird Tales (“Ravenous”), Backstage Passes (“Special Guest”) and Bad-Ass Faeries 2 (“Loopholes”). These days, he’s part of the Wily Writer’s group and recently co-edited the benefit anthology Ravens in the Library with his partner Sandra Buskirk. CMV Bio Catherynne M. Valente
Author: The Anachronist’s Cookbook

Born in the Pacific Northwest in 1979, Catherynne M. Valente is the author of Palimpsest and the Orphan's Tales series, as well as The Labyrinth, Yume no Hon: The Book of Dreams, The Grass-Cutting Sword, and five books of poetry. She is the winner of the Tiptree Award, the Mythopoeic Award, the Rhysling Award, and the Million Writers Award. She has been nominated nine times for the Pushcart Prize, shortlisted for the Spectrum Award and was a World Fantasy Award finalist in 2007. She currently lives on an island off the coast of Maine with her partner and two dogs.

rossmore Mark Rossmore
Author: A Grain of Sand

Mark Rossmore’s eclectic background includes aviation, creative direction, music, web design, theatre, and video production. Currently an FAA air traffic controller in training, when he’s not talking to modern day flying machines he’s conjuring up stories of times and technology that could have been. His published work includes short stories as well as non-fiction articles for major aviation publications such as IFR Magazine. Brian Rappatta's work has appeared in Shadowed Realms and the anthologies Zencore: Scriptus Innominatus (Nemonymous 7), Love and Sacrifice, and Shadow Regions. His novelette, “Tongues”, was a 2nd place winner in the 2006 Writers of the Future competition, and he has work forthcoming in 2009 in Shock Totem.

Klayton bio K. E. Kendall

K. E. Kendall holds a BA in English from Rivier College in New Hampshire where he graduated summa cum laude. A lifelong film and video junkie, he started Culture Cast Media in 2007 and worked for two years producing over 200 segments on arts and culture for public television and radio in Colorado. He has published several books of experimental fiction and poetry under different names. "Project Möbius-5" is his first work of steampunk fiction.

Noel Black still doesn't know what steampunk (sp?) is. He's working on 6 novels so he has an excuse for not finishing any of them. He used to publish things on this really steampunk thing called print, but produces web things and some radio now. He lives with his wife and 8-year-old son in Colorado Springs.

Evelyn Kriete
Promotions, Recruiting, Miracle Worker

Evelyn Kriete has worked in marketing, advertising and promotions since 1996. Since its formation in the early 2000s, she has been a driving force behind the growth of the steampunk subculture by generating media coverage in major institutions such as The New York Times and MTV among others; and she has helped encourage numerous fashion companies to produce steampunk-themed clothing lines. Although she has been instrumental in the promotion of steampunk, it is only one portion of her portfolio; she presently works for Deathrock Magazine and Weird Tales, as well as being a founding member of Gilded Age Records where she is responsible for marketing, advertising and promotions. She also previously served as the head of marketing and promotions for The Willows Magazine. One of her most recent freelance projects was to provide promotions, marketing, and networking assistance for the film Repo! the Genetic Opera.  She is currently working to promote the books Palimpsest and Ravens In The Library, as well as the soon to be released Gothic Charm School.

It is rumored that she does in fact eat and sleep, but these are merely hearsay and not to be taken seriously.

John bio John H. Sondericker III
President/Founder: Steampulp Publishing, LLC, iPhone Code Czar

Prior to jumping into the ePublishing business, John H. Sondericker III spent a decade designing and building detectors for nuclear and high-energy particle physics experiments at Brookhaven National Laboratory. In 1996 he moved from Long Island to Colorado Springs. Since then he has designed stage lighting equipment used by almost every big name in the business and continues to do so as Director of Technologies for a major entertainment lighting products manufacturer. John holds a a BSEE from Purdue University.
